The machine is fully designed, engineered and manufactured in the Willach facility in Germany. The outer shell is made from steel which has strength longevity and durability, particularly compared with melamine/ timber outer which can be found on a competitor machine.
The shelving is made from glass which has been proven in testing to have the greatest strength and durability.
The CONSIS C is supplied with a dedicated Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS). In the event of a power outage, the UPS keeps the system’s PCs running for around 30 minutes, allowing the operator to generate a report of medication locations so the pharmacy can continue to operate manually. Once power is restored, the robot resumes normal operation.
