FAQS

Q: How long does it take from ordering a machine to install?

A: Some machines are carried as stock items and can be installed within 3 weeks of ordering, pending availability of the installation team. If your machine is specifically being ordered and/ or it is reliant on a shopfit, we suggest you allow 6 months.

Q: What is the expected life of a new machine?

A: A well maintained machine will continue to operate for 12-15 years.

Q: Do you have machines in stock?

A: Typically, Willach will have several B0’s, and B2’s in stock, however with many machines being replaced, we would encourage you to place an order as soon as you are able to.

C machines are 100% customisable and are therefore ordered specifically for your pharmacy.

Q: What assistance can I expect from Willach to help me decide?

A: Willach will undertake a drug analysis as part of the review process. This is based on obtaining 12 months of dispense history from your software dispense system. Further to this, we will talk with you about your business plans and your current workflows and explore options and solutions with you. A new dispensary design concept will also be created as part of this process.

Q: Can I trade-in my robot?

A: There is no trade in available for an A-machine.

Q: Can Willach remove my robot?

A: If you choose to replace your robot with a CONSIS.B or a CONSIS.C machine, Willach will allocate time into the install of the new machine to remove the existing machine. Outside of this, a de-install can take place and a quote provided for this task.

Q: Why does Willach no longer wish to service my robot?

A: It was never envisaged that robots would run indefinitely. Just like your pharmacy delivery car which requires replacement, so too does your robot. The individual part manufacturers have indicated that there are some components of the A machine which will no longer be manufactured due to technology upgrades. It is not reasonable for Willach to continue with a fully inclusive service and maintenance program.

Q: What support is offered with new machines?

A: The service and maintenance program on new machines, is based on the current program. The initial contract is for a period of 5 years with 2 further extensions available – 5 years + 2 years.

Q: What if I decide not to change my robot over?

A: Willach are unable to guarantee supply of parts for your machine and we would strongly encourage you to consider the risk management to your business with this decision. Technician’s can be employed to attempt a repair which is charged on a call out fee, travel, and an hourly rate.

Q: What dispense software packages will the new robot be able to work with?

A: The CONSIS machines integrate with all main dispense software providers.
